Main Floor Renovation

Main Floor Transformation

Working with City Space Kitchens and Interior Design, the main floor in this house was completely changed, and updated from the “sea of golden oak” that was originally installed when it was built in 1991 . We removed a load bearing wall, replacing it with 2 beams, which opened up the living area, making 1 large kitchen/dining/entertaining area, out of 3 small rooms. The beams are concealed in a large bulkhead, that mirrors the shape of the island countertop. There is a seating/eating area included in the island, to make a “guest friendly” food prep/entertaining area. The new cabinets increased storage area, and also have more practical storage options. A variety of recessed lighting was added in the ceiling and the bulkhead. The powder room was updated, including a new wall hung vanity with lighting under. A unique addition in the powder room, is LED lighting inside the cabinet, which lights up the glass vanity basin. A combination of new tile and hardwood flooring was installed, and all of the doors and trim were changed

"When people first saw the newly renovated house, many of them said that they couldn’t believe it was the same house."
